About

Hello...
My name is probably hard to pronounce. Tahieuba (ta-hee-bah) is a pretty unique - so unique that no one in the world shares my name and trying to find keyrings and anything personalised with my name was impossible. Probably the equivalent is Tabitha. Anyway, it took me about five years to spell it properly. Thanks to my Dad who named me, he, of course, had to put nearly all the vowels (apart of O) in it.

So... just call me Latif. I'm an indie author who dabbles in book reviews in no particular genre. I officially started book reviewing as a hobby in 2015 but I hadn't found a blogging platform to put all of my reviews together (it was between this and Wordpress). As of January 2019, I chose Blogger and got right into it. I originally had a 'book version' of 'The Reviews'on Wattpad, but it is now deleted and all the content is moved here. My reviews are also available on Goodreads.

I don't have a preference or a favourite genre of writing as of yet. I pick up whatever I fancy from my local library. As a writer, I'm reading a wide range of fiction and non-fiction to better my writing and hopefully get the idea of how the professionals do it. (There's always that one author who I'm just baffled at how their mediocre work made it into publishing.)

I knew I wanted to write fiction since the summer of 1999 (being an eight-year-old was simple). As my peers were trying to make it into the cool and popular club, I had the power of pure imagination and a small notebook to get me through my educational years. Fast forward to now, I've slowly overcome my fear of blogging and criticism (there's feedback but then you have your trolls).

I have another blog (still under construction) that showcases my works such Little Ms Cynical, Humanity, A Vampire’s Deception, to name a few, as well as creative writing tips that have worked for me. If you’re interested to read my stories then click on Wattpad and search @Tahieuba.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day wherever you are in the big wide world.
