Review Policy

I am a UK reviewer and only review books that I like from my local library. If you’re a PR, publisher, author or anyone passing by, who wants to submit a book for review, please read the Guidelines here and the policy below.

I DO accept:

  • I normally read Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Romance, Young Adult, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Crime, Mystery and Thriller but I am open to considering other books like nonfiction and travel. For reviewing I don’t have a preference. Fiction, nonfiction, any will do.
  • I like the odd prize winner, shortlisted and longlisted books too. I also like books that didn’t make the list (but we all know should have).
  • I prefer paperback, hardback and large prints as I like to keep my books after I’ve read them. I will not return the books, and if I’m unable to finish a book, I’ll donate it to the local charity shop.
  • If you can’t send a physical copy then I do accept electronic manuscript or eBooks, in a PDF format only. I don’t own a Kindle so I can only view it on my laptop.

I DO NOT accept:

  • Audio books – I need the physical book that I can read.
  • Blog Tours – I don’t take part in them.
  • Author interviews - I just read and review books. if I like the author then I will mention their other books in my reviews.
  • Amazon – I don’t have an account, so please don’t ask.
  • Pressuring and pestering – Please respect my right to have an opinion of your work. Due to previous bad experience, I have had authors and publishers coercing me for positive reviews and demanding me to review their work in less than a week. I am a slow reader and at best I can read and post a review in 2-3 weeks. Plus, it depends on my mood, the right book at the wrong time can be fatal. If you are unhappy with a review, I won’t change my review or delete it from third-party websites.
  • Abroad fees – If you’re based abroad then consider you will have to pay for international shipping costs. To avoid this just send me a PDF version.
If you’ve read the guidelines and policy and would still like to submit a book for review, please drop an initial query e-mail to tahieubachaudhry@outlook.com with a brief synopsis of the book and, if possible, links to where I can find further information. I can post reviews to coincide with a book release date if required. Please let me know when you would like the book reviewed when you send me the email so that I can confirm if this will be possible or not. I’ll get back to you with my decision as soon as possible.
