Get ready for Audio
Second, well, I never was too into the idea of listening to a book, when, hello, I can just read it. And where would I find the time? But I have found out that audiobooks are so versatile, especially when it comes to mundane tasks: in the comfort of my own home (in bed), go for a run (OK, let’s get real, I don’t run, more like power walk), standing in a queue (old British habits).
You get the picture.
Plus, when I have a backlog of books to read (monstrous pile and maxed out 15 books on my library card!) you just need something light and ready to return online. FYI, old habits die hard. If I can’t get the physical copy of the book and an audio version is available, then needs must. That said, I am not open to audiobook third-party requests.
I’ll try to keep the audiobook reviews balanced and give my honest opinion. My star rating system is the same, out of five and I’ll add more information, like the narrator’s other work, overall tone etc.
Yep, totally excited about audiobooks. My first audiobook review will be out sometime in March.
