Let's focus on more reviews this year.

Since 2020 I haven't written any book reviews. I know CRAZY RIGHT? You're probably asking.... why? Why did just stop? Did you disappear into a black hole?
One word: Overwhelmed... with everything. The pandemic didn't motivate me. It just sucked the fun out of everything! I neglected my health and so I focused on getting that back on track. That put a pin in writing my novel and book reviews.
And do you know that list on my home page on the left side of the blog. The book reviews coming soon list, JUST KEPT ON GROWING and I thought why is this list not condensing? I wasted my time reading books, that lived rent-free in my mind and I just didn't have the energy to write worthy book reviews.
Like the new year, I need to focus my energy on things that I once loved Let's focus this year on continuing what I love doing; writing book reviews, keeping a record of literature I have read and giving my honest review. I ain't here for clout or to get famous. I'm just going to read a wider range of fiction. tapping into realms I thought I wouldn't step foot in. From gripping thrillers to heartwarming tales, and maybe some non-fiction.
Nothing fuels my joy quite like sharing the excitement of a captivating story. So, buckle up, my friends, as we journey through the pages of imagination together.
But hey, this isn't just about me – it's about building a community of book lovers who revel in the magic of storytelling. I want to hear your thoughts, recommendations, and maybe even the occasional friendly debate about the best fictional worlds out there.
So, here's to a year filled with literary escapades, thoughtful reflections, and, of course, a sprinkle of humour and joviality. Let's make 2024 the year of unforgettable reads and shared bookish moments.
Stay tuned, my fellow book aficionados – the adventure is just beginning! 📖✨
